Linda came from an artistic family. Painting since childhood, she is a fourth generation artist.

The subject matter she paints is chosen for the emotional impact it has on her. Using bright colors and deep contrasts Linda's paintings are filled with sensitivity within her strong compositions. She especially enjoys painting people in various situations and welcomes portrait and mural commissions.

Her media includes acrylics, pastels and watercolors. Linda has been showing and selling her work for the past 20 years. Her artwork is seen regularly in many Kansas City coffee houses.

Linda enjoys painting plein air and has been involved in the Prairie Plein Air event in the Flint Hills for the past two years.

For several years she has also participated in the K.C. La Strata del arte.

Linda is also an active member of the Ottawa Art guild.

Among other avenues of artistic expression is her talent as a singer-songwriter.

When she is not painting or singing, Linda breeds miniature American Eskimo dogs.
