Contemporary nature
photographer Michelle Wade lives in Olathe, Kansas with her husband and
her cat, George.
Of major focus in
her work are the vivid colors and distinctive shapes found in nature.
Her photographic style demonstrates her obvious enjoyment in capturing
the beauty of nature with her camera and sharing this beauty with others.
Her photographs reveal the details of nature to viewers year round without
nature's seasonal limitations.
Many of the flowers
in the photographs were grown by Ms. Wade in her garden. The Overland
Park Arboretum is another of her favorite settings. Most of her photographs
are shot in the Kansas City area.
Prior solo photography
exhibits include the Johnson County Central Resource Library, the Unitarian
Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, the Schlagle Library in Kansas City,
Kansas, the Community Art Gallery, the Spotlight Gallery, Hannoush Jewelers
at 119th & Metcalf, Borders Bookstore in Olathe, Kansas and Starbucks
at 121st & State Line Road.
