The goal of our group is to expand the enjoyment of fine arts within the Olathe community and to encourage and promote our local artists by offering group exhibits, educational opportunities and providing community service.

Several guest speakers and workshops are held throughout the year with noted artists providing insight and direction on the visual arts. These speakers cover a wide range of art related topics. Workshops in various mediums are sponsored which are open to the public as well as members. Exhibits of members work are held throughout the year including an "Artist of the Year" Exhibit held each fall.

Some of our other Activities and Opportunities:
*Several local businesses feature rotating exhibits of individual members work.
*Members instruct painting classes for senior residents at Cedar Lake Village each month.
*A semi-annual scholarship is awarded to an Olathe area high school senior pursuing a degree in visual art.
